Why Ushuaia Beach Hotel is the hottest place to stay in Ibiza (just ask Paris Hilton)

It's the ultimate hedonistic party spot, and every kind of party reveller heads to Ibiza.
Gap year newbies hitting up San Antonio; raucous stag parties living it up in Playa d'en Bossa; celebrities who summer in their Old Town villas and veteran island dwellers who have been frequenting the beaches since the 1970s.
Then there is simply the discerning traveller who wants luxurious accommodation in the heart of the action - and the possible sighting of a celebrity. And for them, there is only one place worth a sniff of a stay: Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel.

An Aerial view of Balearic Islands of Ibiza, Spain, a hot spot for party-goers all summer long
Situated in the heart of Playa d'en Bossa with superclub Space literally across the road, there's no doubt this haven is the premium pit stop of the White Isle.
Whilst hotel may be the official line, 'resort' would be a better way to describe Ushuaia.
The Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel consists of two adjoining lodgings: The Ushuaïa Club, 417 rooms and featuring the world-famous poolside stage, and The Ushuaïa Tower 2013, complete with views of the sea and the entire beach area.
Rooms at the main club have balconies which overlook the club's poolside parties and mammoth DJ stage, where guests have free entry but those willing to pay flood in every weekend, too.
Saturday night at Ushuaia is ANTS, and sees the likes of David Guetta, I Am Hardwell and Avicii. Turn up at 15 August and you'll catch Snoop Dogg performing.
Paris Hilton, Leonardo Di Caprio and Kylie Minogue have all attended Ushuaia's famous daytime parties.
Slightly separated from this action is the newly-built, white-walled Ushuaia Tower Block.
Ushuaia's complex is the ultimate party spot

Party beach spot Bora Bora is a favourite of Playa D'en Bossa in Ibiza, and just a few minutes walk from the Ushuaia Beach Hotel
The pool here looks out onto the beach, where the hotel naturally has it's own array of sun-loungers and four-poster beach beds - complete with champagne buckets, of course.
Above this is a balcony with Jacuzzis and private champagne bar, for VIP guests only.If boutique, budget and quaint are on you accommodation-agenda, forget it.
Ushuaia is opulent, extravagant and utterly fabulous.
My faithful travel companion (and premium party buddy) and I arrive at the Tower's lobby for our stay. It's less than 10 minutes and just over 10 Euros in a taxi from Ibiza airport.
Clubber's revel in the Ibiza nightlife scene
A-List: David Guetta, left, is one of the world's top DJs and plays at Ushuaia, whilst Paris Hilton, right, has parties at the hotel, too
The lobby has clean white walls and plush red velvet carpet in the centre, with red-cushioned red plastic chairs.
Huge plastic ants crawl all over the low ceiling - and throughout the hotel itself - a reference to ANTS, the name of the hotel's signature Saturday night club.
Soft house music plays through the room and we are greeted by a buff, tanned Spanish waiter bearing a silver tray which holds two champagne cocktails.
Our Double Superior is the cheapest standard on the menu, followed by the Anything Can Happen Suite, Anything Can Happen Suite with Stage View, Fashion Victim Suite and I'm on Top of the World Suite – a penthouse apartment complete with dining table, bar and Jacuzzi on the balcony overlooking the main stage and pool where the nightlife takes place.
The Double Superior room is ideal for two friends. Wide single beds lay next to each other with crisp white sheets, purple throws and purple velvet cushions
The view from a room at Ushuaia's Tower, overlooking from a small distance the main stage and pool
Whilst you see all the action from here, it's at a little distance, whereas rooms in the Club hotel section are much closer to the party.
Staying in the Tower you have the option for rooms overlook the beach or quieter part of the resort, but once the music gets going, there's no escaping.
Thudding beats and bass lines can be heard throughout the complex – the perfect soundtrack to two British girls fresh off a plane and getting ready for a night out.
For two people staying two nights, the Double Superior is ideal. Wide single beds lay next to each other with crisp white sheets, purple throws, plump pillows and purple velvet cushions. There's also a plasma TV, mini bar and vast bathroom with a rainforest shower.
We head down to the club just before midnight where ANTS is in full swing, literally: As the DJ plays from the main stage to thousands of cheering, beaming, swaying fans, dancers in skimpy costumes perform acrobatics from huge swings.
Others gyrate from podiums dotted amongst the crowds. No wonder Leonardo DiCaprio and Paris Hilton love it here.

The beachside view from Ushuaia, with the soaring Tower complex in the background
Onto the following day, and with heavy heads we force ourselves up to make the full buffet breakfast in both the Club Hotel and Tower. We gorge on scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, juice, pastries and coffee, though wisely skip the cava on offer (breakfast mimosa, anyone?)
Where Ushuaia is vibrant and electric at night, the pool provide a haven of luxury the next day. We nap on generous loungers and order burgers for lunch from the poolside bar. A DJ provides a chilled out, atmospheric soundtrack.
It's around 5pm when sleepy sunbathers start to arise and order cocktails. The music cranks up along with their spirits, with the volume rising as the sun settles. We are not long ready to take on a second Ibiza night.
The foody has the choice of three top restaurants within the Ushuaïa complex: Montauk Steakhouse, The Oyster Bar and Minami; Japanese cuisine in a calm, bamboo and fountain-decorated surroundings.
The only complaint we had during our Ushuaïa experience was that we couldn't stay longer. With every whim catered for at the highest possible standard, aside from the super clubs and beach there's barely any need to even leave the hotel.
Food, drinks, music and pampering - that's the sort of holiday I want.
