The ingenious floating sauna in Finland that you can hire out by the day (at a cost of £325)

If you get too hot n this sauna, you can rest assured you're never too far from a cooling dip.
A group of friends in Finland have come up with an ingenious floating sauna, complete with relaxing hammocks, and observation tower, a barbecue and even a trampoline.
The idea is the brainchild of engineer Santeri Hiltunen, who designed the unusual vessel as a novel way to spend time with his friends.
All aboard: The floating sauna has been designed by a Finnish engineer
We are sailing: The floating sauna can be hired out by holidaymakers for £325 a day
Flying high: A trampoline can be added to the roof terrace to make a great jumping off point into the lake
Home from home: The sauna also has bunk beds for people who want to stay overnight
And for those who don't fancy buying one fore themselves, they can rent the floating sauna by the day in North Karelia, on the country's eastern border with Russia, for £325 a day.
Finland is famed as the home of the sauna, in fact the country has on average one sauna for every two people, but the novel floating retreat, made from recycled wood and salvaged plastic drums, is a first.
Hiltunen is based in the eastern town of Joensuu and the sauna boat can be used on local lakes so travellers can make the most of the Nordic summers with a warm place to retreat to if the weather turns.
Tradition: Finland is famed for its sauna culture, with almost half as many hot houses as people in the country
On the water: The basic structures includes the sauna and some extra living space, but a barbecue, trampoline and hammocks can be added to make it more homely
Feeling the heat: Finns take their saunas very seriously and most homes have one for the family
Hanging out: With hammocks and a barbecue, the boat is the perfect place for some relaxation
After the searing heat of the sauna, holidaymakers are expected to leap overboard into the lake to cool off and boost circulation.
The more adventurous travellers can enjoy jumping int the water from the six metre-high observation tower and there is even an option to have a trampoline placed on board.
But for those more interested in relaxation, the hammocks and barbecue could be the main draw.
