Forget roaming charges, if you want to keep you social media sites update on holiday, you'd do best to head to Sweden.
New research has revealed the percentage of hotels in European cities that offer free wifi and Sweden has three destinations in the top 10.
But British hotels are failing to cater to foreign travellers, with three destinations listed among the worst offenders for failing to provide fee internet, according to travel website KAYAK who conducted the research.
Check in, log on: Swedish cities led the way when it came to offering free hotel wifi
Manchester ranked the worst, taking second place on the list of 10 cities with the lowest free wifi availability, while Liverpool and Birmingham also ranked ninth and 10th place respectively.
The research comes just weeks after it was revealed that British travellers rank free wifi as one of their top three hotel amenities after complimentary wifi and a restaurant on site.
The ten most-wanted perks by travellers also included parking, swimming pool, air conditioning and coffee or tea in the lobby.

A smoke-free hotel also made in the top 10 priorities, while travellers were not very keen on child and pet friendly services or hair salons, which were at the bottom of the hotel wish list.
If you want to tweet, Instagram or post a photo to Facebook, try the city of Malmö in Sweden, where 98 per cent of hotels offer free wifi, or Gothenburg, which came in second place with free internet in 96 per cent of hotels.
But avoid Cologne in Germany, which came bottom of the poll, with just 63 per cent of hotels offering wifi without charge, while Manchester ranked just one place above, with 64 per cent offering free internet.
