Easter road chaos sees families last just 33 minutes in the car before arguing

With today expected to be the busiest day of the weekend on the roads, it has been revealed that we'll only last an average of 33 minutes in the car before the first argument breaks out.
Despite the four-day break ahead, stressed-out families will spend around five hours 24 minutes on the road during the holiday on average, bickering after just half-an-hour.
One in six families argue over what to listen to on the radio, and a further one in six admit that children arguing in the back have caused them to have an accident in the past, according to 1st Car Insurance, who commissioned the research.

But it's not just the kids that are driving parents to distraction on car journeys with 17 per cent of dads admitting they are more likely to be distracted by text messages and social media posts on their phone than their children whilst driving.
And nearly a third of mums claim they find their partner's comments about their driving more stressful than children in the back seat.
A poll from VisitEngland showed that around 3.4 million Britons are set to take an Easter break in the UK involving at least one overnight stay, providing an £800m boost for the UK economy.

Around 6.5 million Britons are planning day trips over the holiday period, with a further 9 per cent undecided whether to have a break involving an overnight stay, the survey revealed.
VisitEngland chief executive James Berresford said: 'Easter is a fantastic time of year to spend a short break or day out with the family exploring the wonderful destinations in England.
'The industry has rallied following the severe weather earlier this year. It's business as usual for tourism with a full line-up of events and offers across the country, and destinations ready and waiting to welcome visitors this Easter break.'
