Forget cheese tasting and snorkelling in crystalline waters. Whether you are a cheese lover or passionate about scuba diving, there are some quirkier experiences out there for you to try.

The annual event, which takes place in Gloucestershire, sees hordes of up to 5,000 people tumble down Cooper's Hill chasing a 9lb double Gloucester cheese. This year it takes place on May 26.
