British Airways unveil new plane cabin interior

British Airways has unveiled the new cabin interior that will soon be installed across its short-haul fleet.
The new look planes will feature grey leather seating, and narrower seats, to make space for extra seats in the Euro Traveller economy cabin.
It is thought the seats in Club Europe (business) will be reduced from 34 to 30 inches - giving passengers in this area of the plane, the same legroom as those in economy.

The redesign also features an eye-level seatback tablet-holder and a four-way moveable headrest.
And Business class travellers will be treated to a 'central console' table, complete with leather mats for food, drinks and personal devices - leaving the main table free for work or their inflight meal.
The fleet upgrade, which begins this week, will take one year to complete, and will start with work on its 95 Airbus short-haul aircraft.

BA executive chairman Keith Williams said: 'The short-haul landscape has changed enormously in recent years.
'To stay competitive and keep offering customers choice, great fares and great service, we are giving our cabins a radical makeover.
'There will be a new look, but the traditional British Airways comfort, elegance and value will remain.'
